Can Ladies Smoke Cigars? Interview of Laura from Cigar Senoritas.

I interviewed Laura from Cigar Senoritas (@cigarsenoritas) at the Marta Bar in Abu Dhabi, the bar of the beautiful Fouquet’s restaurant at the Louvre Museum. I must thank the team there for a great welcome. Laura is a news editor for a major newspaper in Abu Dhabi and a member of the same cigar club I attend. Whilst researching topics for interviews I realised that very little had been done regarding ladies in the cigar scene and therefore I asked Laura who is very active on her @cigarsenoritas instagram page with her friend “Mo”, if she would be willing to talk about what it is like to be a woman in the cigar aficionado world. I am very happy that she accepted my offer. I apologise if the title of the video is considered agressive. The purpose of this video is definitely to demonstrate that ladies are an important par of the cigar scene and are, like Laura, very comfortable in a traditionally male dominated world were their number grows steadily. Just like it was very unusual to see a lady winemaker 20 years ago, nowadays woman are making some of the best wines in the industry and it is no surprise that women are not only making the best cigars, they are also smoking and enjoying them.
